REFUNDS,, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at marquisedelaborde.fr@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution. We are a very small business and we have excellent and fast customer service to help you to our best ability.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as candles or socks cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate (such as Socks ) or sanitary goods such as soaps, candles and body lotions.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We require a notification within 3 working days of reception of goods.
Partial refunds are not all applicable outside of the CEE.
If you are not happy with the quality of the item or items then please return within 7 working days of reception of the item or items. Please notify us within 3 days of reception of the item or items that you wish to return your purchase if applicable. Our French laws require that the entire order be shipped back for a full refund to respect our customs declarations if the goods were shipped outside the CEE.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. French laws require that the entire order be shipped back for refund (if applicable) to comply with the customs declarations made for orders shipped outside of the CEE.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Sale items (if applicable)
Sales items are refundable if they are returned in their original packaging with transport at your own cost.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged but you must notify us immediately upon reception of the item. We must have your notification within 3 days of reception of goods. We reserve the right to not replace an item which we consider to be shipped without any defects. All items are carefully inspected before shipping. We take a photo of the item for our records before shipping outside the CEE to have proof of item quality before shipping.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to our headquarters: Marquise de Laborde, Château de Laborde 21200 Meursanges, France.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
